I received a letter from FreetoLearn.info , I found it thought-provoking

From an American and a father to another American:

The education of America and our values are under attack. 94% of university professors identify themselves as liberals or farther to the left according to studies. 90% identify themselves as atheists. 50% identify themselves as socialists or Marxists. 92% of students who become teachers identify themselves as left of the political center. 72% of liberals state they changed their political views during high school or college.  It is these people who teach their "values" to their students, our children.
 
In short, America's educational system has been hijacked through the collusion of the government, liberal politicians, corporations, Marxist professors, leftist "think tanks", and the mainstream media.

Our organization was founded by Americans who've decided enough is enough.  We form part of a resistance movement that actively fights against this educational oppression, while informing Americans what damage has been done by far-left radical "educators" and what can be done to contest the culture of hate, socialism and God-lessness promoted by those who control education in America. Contrary to what the mainstream media tells us, there is a difference between the once-sacred values of America and the new 'values' of most teachers and professors.

We aim to restore the freedom to learn without liberal censorship, and freedom from the radical Marxist agenda broadcast to our children everyday. The time for talk has passed and effective action is needed. If we don't fight back soon, then it will too late and the America we once knew will be gone. We are Americans who want to defend our children from the leftist indoctrination centers masquerading as schools in America, instead of simply complaining about it.

Out of all our programs, the one for which we are best known for is our conservative scholarship program, where we give support to aspiring conservative teachers and professors. Research shows that it is primarily liberals (80-90%) who go to school to study education in the first place. We aim to change that.  So far, we have given out over $150,000 in scholarships to aspiring conservative teachers. However, this is only one of our 16 comprehensive and ongoing programs to help restore America.

We believe that Americans working together are much more powerful than cursing alone in the darkness. We need your help in the fight against these so-called "educators". We cannot afford to stand back and do nothing, while millions of our children undergo Marxist indoctrination. History has proven that communism overtook free nations not because it was more powerful, but because the people did not fight back and instead chose to do nothing, thus allowing their country to fall into evil and oppression. Today we face the same choice.

This is my first blog post, I hope I'm doing this right, with my luck I've screwed up something.

Well this blog is about something that is true and dear to my heart, and should be to every true American, because it affects our children and our future.
Roughly 95% of all liberal arts and non-science professors identify themselves as liberal, leftist, or far-left Marxist (from frontpagemag.com).  About 80% of school teachers, and 90% of college students taking 'education' courses with the intention of working in education, are moderately to radically liberal (frontpagemag).
We send our kids to these schools!  Maybe not you, but most Americans do!  And don't think your kid will get out of it by being a science major, they still need to take general education courses which consist of sociology (in the frontpagemag survey, they could not find a single conservative sociology professor), history, English, and so forth.
Children are impressionable and don't always listen to parents and can be easily influenced by some silver-tongued professor.

Well, this is my first post, and it's a test post, so I'm going to stop here and see if it comes out looking okay.  If it does, I will give a lot more detailed information about education in America, and I hope we can share information about how we can help.
